Capscan Launches Worldwide Address Management Capability at IDMF

All-Embracing Solution Incorporates Address Data From Over 240 Countries To Realise Marketers International Ambitions And Requirements

Capscan, a leading supplier of International address management solutions, today announced the launch of the new version of Matchcode International. Its new solution incorporates unrivalled quality address data from over 240 countries, providing UK marketers with unparalleled depth and breadth of coverage. Matchcode International is being launched on stand 308 at the International Direct Marketing Fair, 22nd -24th February, Earl's Court.

Matchcode International is unrivalled in terms of quality and level of detail of the data, including information up to locality (city) level for all 240 countries, postal codes for all countries with postal code and street level information for more than 40 countries.

The new software ensures that databases are populated with accurate and correctly formatted International address data, by taking input address details and matching them to validated postal information. It also adds missing address components, corrects misspellings and validates local delivery codes, resulting in the database containing accurate postal information.

Matchcode International manages local variations on address formats, such as the order in which the different address components are written. It also supports International languages, along with country-specific characters such as umlauts and accents.

The Windows-based GUI has been enhanced for ease of use, allowing users to select graphical country address datasets from a drop-down list. Internationally recognised ISO numbers have also been embedded in the output file, displaying alpha or numeric abbreviations for each country.
