Capscan Seminar At Civica Annual Conference 2010 To Teach Data Quality Best Practice For The Public Sector
12:00 – 12:30pm, 27th January 2010, Manchester Central Convention Complex
Capscan, a leading supplier of UK and international address management solutions and data integrity services, today announced that it will be hosting a seminar entitled ‘Addressing Data Quality’, at the Civica Annual Conference 2010. The session will teach professionals in the public sector how to improve data quality and in turn deliver financial and operational rewards across their departments, whilst contributing to an improved perception of services provided to citizens.
On Wednesday 27th January 2010, between 12:00 and 12:30pm, the Sales Director at Capscan, David Mead will discuss the negative impact that incorrect data has on marketing and operational costs, efficiency and citizen perceptions. He will advise on data quality best practice and demonstrate how a combination of the right people, processes and technology can deliver a clear return on investment.
Mead comments, “During the seminar we will assess the ramifications poor contact data quality has on an organisation, both in terms of unnecessary marginal costs and impact on operational efficiency. We advise on what can be done to improve data quality and give insights into how a data quality management strategy can be implemented to prevent data decay.”
In addition to hosting the ‘Addressing Data Quality’ seminar, Capscan will be demonstrating why it is one of the UK’s leading providers of addressing software and data quality services to more than 140 local authorities and central government organisations. It will also offer all conference delegates a free audit of up to 1,000 addresses. Capscan will process these customer or contact address records and subsequently supply a report outlining the quality of the input addresses and the address cleansing achieved.
The Civic Annual Conference 2010 takes place on 27th and 28th January, for more information about the conference and to register please visit: www.civicaplc.com/uk/conference.
